Monday Salutation Anchoring

As we enter this new week, may you slow your breath, soften your pace, and find your center. Today we anchor—not to hold ourselves back, but to steady ourselves so we can rise with intention. The world may swirl, but you get to choose your grounding.

Monday Practice

Use this practice whenever your mind wanders, your energy feels scattered, or you need to reconnect with your body and the moment.

5 — Name five things you can see.

Let your eyes land on colors, shapes, and textures that remind you you’re here.

4 — Name four things you can feel.

The chair beneath you, your feet on the floor, your heartbeat, the weight of your clothing.

3 — Name three things you can hear.

The low hum of your space, distant movement, or the quiet that wraps around you.

2 — Name two things you can smell.

Coffee, a candle, the air itself—or recall a scent that brings you ease.

1 — Name one thing you can taste.

A sip of water, a mint, or simply the lingering taste in your mouth.

Let each step pull you gently back to yourself.

Monday Writing Prompt

Where in your life do you feel the most grounded, and where do you feel most unanchored?

Write about what helps you return to yourself—rituals, places, people, or sensations—and how you can invite more anchoring into this week.

Monday Mantra

“I return to myself again and again. I am anchored. I am steady. I am here.”
