Monday Salutation- Solitude
Welcome to the quiet that holds you. Today we root into stillness and rise into self-connection. May this space of solitude feel intentional, gentle, and restorative. A place where nothing is required of you except presence.
Monday Practice
- Create the container
Choose a small window of time—5, 10, or 15 minutes.
Let yourself know: This time is just for me.
- Soften the senses
Reduce stimulation where you can. Silence notifications, dim the lights, or sit near natural light.
- Arrive inward
Place one hand on your heart or belly.
Take slow breaths and notice what it feels like to be with yourself—without distraction.
- Listen without urgency
Ask gently: What is here when I am not performing, producing, or responding?
Let the answer come as a sensation, word, or image.
- Close with gratitude
Thank yourself for choosing presence, even briefly.
Monday Writing Prompt
What parts of me soften, speak up, or settle when no one else is watching or waiting?
When I allow myself to be alone without distraction, what begins to surface?
As you write, explore:
- How solitude feels in your body
- What solitude gives you that connection sometimes cannot
- What you are learning about yourself in the quiet
Let your words be a place of companionship—with yourself.
Monday Mantra
“In solitude, I return to myself.”
