Tuesday (that feels like a Monday) Salutation

Let’s call it what it is: today is a Tuesday, but it has that heavy, unmistakable, chaotic Monday energy. Maybe you had a long holiday weekend, maybe your brain is playing massive catch-up, or maybe you woke up feeling behind before your feet even hit the floor.

When the calendar says one thing but your nervous system says another, there is a distinct kind of friction. The world is already moving at full speed, but your body is still trying to find the ignition.

Take a breath. Drop your shoulders away from your ears. You don’t have to force yourself into high gear just because of the day of the week. Let’s slow down the tempo together and ground into the present moment with this 15-minute reset.

Tuesday (that feels like Monday) Practice

Sit comfortably. No need for perfect meditation posture just sit how your body actually wants to sit right now. Press your feet gently into the floor. Feel the weight of your body being completely supported by your chair or the earth. You are held. You don’t have to carry the weight of the whole week on your shoulders right now.

Inhale deeply through your nose, filling up your chest and your belly until you can’t take in any more air. Then, let out a heavy, audible, noisy sigh through your mouth. Let it be loud. Do this three times, actively throwing away the sluggishness with each exhale.
